Just studied diodes and rectifiers yesterday in class. Every time the professor said the words 'Bridge Rectifier' I would smile like an idiot remembering this video XD.
Why did the capacitors on the rectifier only shock you when it was disconnected from the mains? You were able to touch the 166V DC output earlier but towards the end got a nasty shock doing the same. The only difference i can see is that in the latter it was disconnected from the mains. Am i missing something?
Hi i'm a big noob but i'd like to make a regulator/rectifier for a friend's motorcycle because they tend to die quickly and they are so fcking expensive (i mean regulators/rectifiers not my friends LOL). Would you explain it to me by any chance?
